Vienna Volunteer Fire Department Auction

Come out to the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department for its live and silent auction. The department will be auctioning off a timeshare week, a dinner cruise, hundred of dollars in hair services, and even some of its very own firefighters and EMTs!  Friday, July 12, 6 p.m.

Japanese Summer Festival of Obon

Check out the summer Japanese celebration at Ekoji Buddhist Temple in Fairfax Station. This annual Obon Festival includes a full evening of activities featuring a performance by the Aloha boys, a local Hawaiian music group, along with traditional Japanese folk dancing, children's games, a taiko performance by Nen Daiko and more. Saturday, July 13, 5:30 p.m

Dr. Rami Kanaan and Bettye Cooley in Concert 

Violinist Dr. Rami Kanaan and pianist Bettye Cooley return to the Oakton Church of the Brethren Community Concert Series to perform three sonatas by W.A. Mozart. Saturday. July 13, 7 p.m.

Head to Jammin’ Java to see your favorite bands, win cool prizes and support your local library. Cosponsored by the Friends of the Kings Park Library. Saturday, July 13, 2 p.m.

Scared Threads Quilt Show

Head to Floris United Methodist Church in Herndon for an exhibition of quilts exploring themes of spirituality, joy, inspiration, peace/brotherhood, grief and healing. Sunday, July 14, 1 p.m.
