Animal Control: Puppy Abandoned in Franconia

The Miniature Pinscher mix was found in a parking lot.

At about 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, Fairfax County Animal Control officers responded to a call about an injured Miniature Pinscher mix puppy in the 6100 block of Franconia Road in the Kingstowne area.

According to the weekly crime report, animal control found the puppy alone in a parking lot. The officer's initial investigation showed that the puppy was abandoned. The puppy was taken to be treated for its injuries.
