Annandale Man Charged After Stabbing Outside Restaurant In Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, VA — Fairfax County police charged a man after a stabbing at a restaurant in Springfield early Friday morning.

When they arrived at the scene around 2 a.m. on Friday, police learned that a fight started inside Casa Blanca Restaurant at 6981 Hechinger Drive in Springfield and continued into the restaurant’s parking lot.

Jose Reyes, 59, of Annandale was charged with aggravated malicious wounding in connection with the stabbing of a person in the upper body. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to police.

Reyes was taken into custody on Friday. He was later released on bond, police said.
