Fire Reported Thursday at Rose Hill Shopping Center

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says there were no injuries at Kingstowne-area fire Thursday.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A fire broke out Thursday at the Rose Hill Shopping Center, according to Fairfax County Fire & Rescue. The fire department reports there were no civilian or firefighter injuries.

Firefighters were on the scene Thursday morning at the shopping center, where they put out a small fire in a storefront façade at the shopping center, located in the 6100 block of Rose Hill Drive (see map below). The fire was extinguished as of about 11:30 a.m.

The fire was located outside, in front of the City Nails & Spa salon; an employee at the salon said she thought the fire outside may have started due to some sort of electrical problem. Fire officials earlier asked the salon to shut off its power, but it's now back on, as of 1:30 p.m. Thursday, the employee said.
