Massage Therapist Faces Sexual Battery Charges in Franconia

A female client alleges that the male therapist touched her inappropriately at a Massage Envy location, according to police.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A massage therapist in the Franconia area is facing charges after he allegedly inappropriately touched a client, Fairfax County Police announced Thursday.

On Tuesday, May 24, police arrested the 24-year-old man, employed as a massage therapist, for inappropriately touching a 36-year-old woman.

An investigation determined the woman visited the business, a Massage Envy located at 6465 Old Beulah St. (see map below) in the Franconia area, on Sunday, May 8 around 1 p.m. During the session, the employee allegedly touched her inappropriately, according to police. The victim reported the incident to police the following day.

On Tuesday, May 24, officers obtained a criminal warrant for Nicholas Currie, of the Alexandria area. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with sexual battery. The victim did not require medical attention, police said.
