Police Nab 1 Suspect, Seek 2 Others in Robbery of LensCrafters: Police
Three suspects stole designer eyeglasses, sprayed 2 employees with pepper spray, police say.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police have caught one of three suspects who they say robbed the LensCrafters store on Frontier Drive in August, they announced Wednesday.
On Friday, Aug. 19 at about 10:25 a.m., three women entered the store, located at 6575 Frontier Drive near Springfield Town Center, and stole 11 pairs of designer sunglasses, according to police.
One of the suspects sprayed two employees with a chemical believed to be Mace or Pepper Spray, police said. All three suspects fled the scene. Detectives from the FCPD's Major Crimes Division have identified all three suspects involved in the case, police said Wednesday.

On Thursday, Aug. 28, warrants were obtained for Dominique Katherine Thompson, 26, of Maryland. She was arrested on Monday, Sept. 12, for robbery and felony malicious bodily injury by means of any caustic substance or agent.
On Wednesday, Sept. 7, warrants were obtained for Tayna Lakrisha Gibson, 24, of Washington D.C. and Diamond Janay Fleming, 22, of Maryland for robbery and felony malicious bodily injury by means of any caustic substance or agent. Gibson and Fleming’s whereabouts are unknown.
