Police Search for Driver Who Fled Vehicle on I-495 Near Van Dorn Exit
Police say driver refused to let woman out of his car and pulled over after her friends followed them in another car.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Virginia State Police and Fairfax County Police were searching early Tuesday for a man who may have held a woman against her will, driving her from Washington, D.C. into Virginia., Virginia State Police said Tuesday.
At about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, a Virginia State Police officer pulled over on the shoulder of the westbound lanes of Interstate 495 at Exit 173 (Van Dorn), where two cars had pulled over.
A woman at the scene said she had willingly gotten into a man's car in Washington, D.C., but he had then refused to let her out of the car, driving into Virginia. Her friends had followed them in another car.

The man pulled over on the shoulder and fled the scene on foot, police said. Police searched for him, but couldn't find him. No charges have been filed but police are continuing to investigate the incident. Police did not provide a description of the man or his car.
