SFDC Announces Business Round-Table Speaker Series
A program will be held Thursday, Sept. 1 for the series's sixth event.

Please join SFDC on Thursday, Sept. 1 for our sixth Business Roundtable Speaker Series event, "Government Contracting for Small Businesses," with Anna Urman of George Mason University's Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP). Anna is an expert on government contracting for small businesses with the area's foremost contracting incubator, Virginia PTAP, at George Mason University.

What is PTAP?
According to the Virgnia PTAP website, Virginia PTAP's mission is to help business do business with government, both federal and state or local. Services cover the full range of information, from the very basics for newcomers (FAR, FBO, SAM, DSBS, and more) to WOSB, SDVOSB, GSA schedules application, 8(a) certification and more. Virgnia PTAP helps its clients understand how to analyze and respond to RFPs, the advantages of priming and subcontracting opportunities and assist with more intricate company-specific challenges including pricing and compliance questions.

The program will be held 8:30-10 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express located at 6055 Richmond Highway in Alexandria.
