Suspect in Alleged Fairfax County Grocery Store Thefts: Do You Recognize Him?
Fairfax County Police say he has loaded up his grocery cart and left without paying at several stores in the county.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police are hoping the public can help put a grocery thief behind bars.
Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Isom Cooper, 52, whose last known address was in Washington, D.C. He is a suspect in several thefts from grocery stores throughout Fairfax County and other jurisdictions, according to Fairfax County Police.
Cooper enters the stores, fills grocery carts with items and then flees without paying, police said. He is known to drive a green Oldsmobile Alero and possibly a blue Hyundai Elantra, according to police. He might have changed the license plates on the vehicles. Multiple felony warrants are on file in Fairfax County for Isom Cooper.

The police description of Cooper: He is black, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and around 195 pounds. He may or may not be wearing eye glasses. In some cases, Cooper has been accompanied by a younger black female. She has been described as in her 30s, around 5 feet 1 inch tall and around 140 pounds.
