Suspect Snatches Purse from Woman, 89, in Parking Lot
Police say suspect in Friday morning incident is a muscular black man driving a 2008-2012 Nissan Altima with partial license plate 2057.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Detectives from Fairfax County's Franconia District are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred Friday morning in the 6600 block of Loisdale Road (see map below).
Friday morning, around 10:16 a.m., an 89-year-old woman had just entered her vehicle and was approached by a man. The man assaulted her, grabbed her purse, and fled, according to police. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and did not require medical transport.

The suspect was described as black, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a muscular build, according to police. He had short black hair and was clean shaven. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a 2008-2012 Nissan Altima with a possible partial license plate of “2057.”
