ICYMI: Three Assault, Rob Man Outside Kingstowne Apartment: Police

The assault and robbery took place Thursday night at an apartment complex on Silver Lake Boulevard, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A man was assaulted and robbed while leaving an apartment complex late Thursday night in the Kingstowne area, according to Fairfax County Police.

The incident took place Thursday at about 11:30 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 7100 block of Silver Lake Boulevard, which could have been the Manchester Lakes Senior Apartment Homes, located at 7131 Silver Lake Boulevard; police did not give the name of the complex in the report released Friday. No one answered the phone at Manchester Lakes Senior Apartment Homes Friday to verify whether the incident took place there.

Police say the victim was exiting an apartment complex and was approached by two black men and a black woman, police said. The suspects grabbed and assaulted the victim, took property and fled the area in a black sedan, police said. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not give the age of the victim.

Police gave the following description of the suspects: The female suspect was described as black, about 18 to 25 years of age, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, and wearing a green jacket and blue jeans. The other two male suspects were described as black, about 20 to 25 years of age, long dreads, and wearing black jackets.
