Blue Arbor Café Now Taking Reservations For Mother's Day
Manager Sherry Mangas is looking forward to working with her son on Mother's Day.

The Blue Arbor Café is now taking reservations for Mother's Day, after manager Sherry Mangas decided that working in the restaurant with her son was what she wanted to do on Mother's Day.
"It's her Mother's Day," owner Stephen Power said.
The restaurant will likely do two seatings, one in the mid-morning, and one at noon or in the early afternoon. Power recommends getting a reservation, as those with reservations will be served first.

"It's going to fill up fast," Power said. "If we can accomodate people that walk up, we will. People will have a party of eight and they don't make a reservation and they're shocked when they show up to any restaurant and, 'What do you mean we can't get in?'"
Power can seat 28 in the restaurant, which means he could seat four parties of six without too much crowding.

"As the reservations come in, we'll arrange the tables in our heads," he said. If it's a nice day, walk-in customers may be able to sit outside.
"We're going to offer a special mother's day menu," he said. "Breakfast and brunch items will be available all day. We're going to pick out sandwiches to have available, but we're not going to do the full-fledged menu. It's so busy that there's no way we could keep up with the volume."
The restaurant will still serve vegetarian items, and favorites like the French Orchard and the Chicken Tarragon.
