Lake Ridge Area Man Charged in Narcotics Investigation

A Lake Ridge man was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana after a narcotic investigation on Grover Glen Court, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Aaron Wilfredo Melendez, 27, was arrested March 5 after Street Crimes Unit Detectives concluded an investigation into marijuana distribution, according to Perok. The investigation ended with the execution of a search warrant at a residence at Grover Glen Court. 

"As a result of the search, marijuana, an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, and other items were recovered," Perok said.

Melendez was arrested without incident. His court date is April 12. He is being held on a $3,500 secured bond.
