Mother's Day: Occoquan's Pink Bicycle Tea Room Taking Reservations
Reservations are strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome if space is still available.
The Pink Bicycle Tea Room in Occoquan is taking reservations for Mother's Day.
Three seatings will be available: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., owner Lisa Johnson said.
"We will be offering a four course tea," Johnson said. The tea includes soup, salad, fresh baked scones with cream and jam, and a tower of tea sandwiches, savories, petite desserts and fresh fruit.

The tea is $35 per person, not including gratuity or tax.
"We do have the capacity to seat a group of 12 in one dining room," Johnson said. "Usually we sell out, but we always welcome walk-ins if we have space available."
