- Denise Kofoid Corbo, a Loudoun County School Board member who suffers from chronic Lyme disease and autoimmune disease, is suing the board for not allowing her to participate in meetings remotely. Her remote meeting requests were denied due to Corbo's refusal to attend board meetings in person despite her public appearances around the nation. She is suing the board for two million. - Jose Luis Cordon, 24, is accused of stabbing a man in a Tipicos Los Amigos restaurant parking lot on May 17. Detective Michael Grimsley identified him using credit card records and contacted several individuals who were with Cordon that day. One of them claimed Cordon stabbed the victim and provided his address. Cordon is still at large, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department. (Loudoun Times-Mirror)
- Due to an increase in Virginia student enrollment and a current teacher shortage, a pipeline was created to hire former students; hence, the Loudoun County Public Schools Teacher Cadet Program is seeing enrollment increases.
