Drink While You Shop In Leesburg

LEESBURG, VA—You may already have caught wind of this, but just in case, here's something that may make your next shopping excursion a bit more enjoyable. Namely, the Village at Leesburg, 1602 Village Market Boulevard, allows you to drink while you shop.

Dubbed "Drink in the Good Life," the promotion lets you order a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from 5 Tara, BurgerFi, ChefScape, Eggspectation, Firebirds, Plaza Azteca, The Conche, Travinia or Vino Bistro and ask for it to go. The bartender will serve it to you in a disposable cup and you can "freely cruise the Village shopping, relaxing by the fountain or enjoying one of our many events."

• Where can I take my drink to go?

You can take your drink to go in the designated areas noted in the above map. Signage has been placed around the Village to note the boundaries. Visit AFIS Jewelers, Bubbleology, Charming Charlie, Dog Krazy, G5 Salon, Katie’s Nails & Spa, Leesburg Family Smiles, Luv2Play, Potomac River Running, Rocket Fizz, Salon Montage and Spokes Etc. with your to-go drink. However, be respectful of the retailers that have a “No Alcohol Permitted” sign outside of their store.

• Can I bring my own alcohol?

No, to-go drinks can only be purchased from 5 Tara, BurgerFi, ChefScape, Eggspectation, Firebirds, Plaza Azteca, The Conche, Travinia or Vino Bistro . You cannot bring your own alcohol into Village at Leesburg or fill a Drink in the Good Life cup with your own alcohol.

• What do I do when I finish my to-go drink?

After you finish your beverage you must throw away your cup. If you wish to order another beverage the bartender is required by law to serve it to you in a new cup. The cups have the restaurant logo on them to indicate where the drink was purchased.

• Can I bring my to-go drink from one restaurant to another?

Drink in the Good Life to-go beverages are not allowed to travel from one restaurant to another (including patios). You must finish or discard your drink prior to entering another restaurant. Once you leave the restaurant with your to-go cup, you cannot take the same cup back into the restaurant where it was purchased.

• Who can purchase a to-go drink?

Those that are 21 years or older are able to purchase a to-go drink from 5 Tara, BurgerFi, ChefScape, Eggspectation, Firebirds, Plaza Azteca, The Conche, Travinia or Vino Bistro. Restaurants are required to uphold standard practicing of verifying your legal age and not overserving
