"It takes a lot of people to pull this together," said Jean Zenowich, Vice President of LLF and leader of the sorting effort, in a statement. "We have a dedicated set of volunteers that have been working since the fall to stay on top of all the donations. We couldn't do this without them."

Added Drew Zenowich, President of LLF: "It is great to see all the returning faces as either customers or volunteers. There are people I have been seeing for years volunteering or coming to find a treasure or two during the sale. It is really a community event."

This year's sale is being dedicated to two long-term volunteers who died this year: Barbara Falkenstine and Mary Fishback.

Last year, sale had more than 8,000 attendees and raised more than $97,000 for the public libraries of Loudoun County. Since 1984 the LLF has raised more than $1.1 million.
