  1. Loudoun County is renaming Fort Johnston Road in two sections to honor segregationist or Confederate symbols. The section between Alysheba Drive and Leeland Orchard Road will be named Leeland Orchard Road, while the second section will be named "Fort Star" in honor of the fort's star-shaped construction. The official renaming will not occur until Fall 2023, and property owners will receive notice of the change 60 days in advance. (Loudoun Now)
  2. The Lovettsville Historical Society will host a symposium on "Slavery in the German Settlement" featuring a speaker and a panel of local historians on Sunday. A panel will be present to provide historical and regional context, raise questions, and lead attendees in a discussion on the antebellum German Settlement on the eve of the Civil War. Entree is a voluntary donation. (Loudoun Now)
  3. Attention! The Leesburg Police Department needs your help in identifying a vehicle of interest regarding a vehicle tampering investigation. For those with information please contact Off. H.
