Loudoun Teacher Inappropriately Communicated With Students: Cops

A Loudoun County High School teacher was arrested after participating "in inappropriate communications with students," say Leesburg Police.

LEESBURG, VA—A Loudoun County High School teacher was arrested Tuesday, April 30, after participating "in inappropriate communications with students," according to Leesburg Police. Allison Briel, 25, of Leesburg, was charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Briel has been with the high school at 415 Dry Mill Road since August 2017 as a marketing education teacher. Asked in an email about the nature of the communications, Leesburg Police spokesman Sam Shenouda described them as "electronic."
