New Quilt Exhibit Depicts Summer In Loudoun County
"Summer in Loudoun County" is an art exhibit that'll feature nine quilts made by artists from Country Quilters and Waterford Quilters Guild.

LEESBURG, VA—When one thinks of a quilt, the first thing that comes to mind probably isn't summer. But an art exhibit that'll soon be on display all summer in Leesburg Town Hall at 25 West Market Street likely will change one's thinking.
Dubbed "Summer in Loudoun County," the boutique exhibit will feature nine quilts made by artists from Country Quilters and the Waterford Quilters Guild. They will include such things as wineries, country landscapes and the Loudoun County Fair.
It's sponsored by the Loudoun Breast Health Network, a non-profit that provides "assistance to the residents of Loudoun County who are going through breast cancer treatment." The quilts will be displayed from Saturday, June 1-August 31. An opening reception will be held 7-8 p.m. Friday, June 7, during Leesburg's First Friday.
