Pavement Repair At East Market, Plaza Street Postponed

From the Town of Leesburg: Due to inclement weather, pavement repair planned for Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the intersection of East Market and Plaza Streets has been postponed to Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, the East Market and Plaza Street intersection will be partially closed for pavement work. The traffic pattern changes at the intersection will be:

• Traffic eastbound on Market Street has no access to northbound Plaza Street.
• Traffic westbound on Market is reduced to one lane and has no access to Plaza Street in either direction.
• Traffic on Plaza Street cannot travel through the intersection in either direction.
• Traffic southbound on Plaza Street is able only to turn westbound onto Market Street.
• Traffic northbound on Plaza Street is able only to turn eastbound onto Market Street.

Repair work should be completed by 4:00 p.m. Until all lanes are reopened, drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
