Sodexo Hosts Job Fairs for New Liberty University Dining Center

Sodexo is now hiring for all positions to prepare for the opening of the newly built Reber-Thomas Dining Center at Liberty University (LU).

Interested applicants should attend upcoming job fairs on campus in June and July.

Sodexo offers the following dates and locations for job fairs, expanding on its community of committed and passionate employees:

June 13-14 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Slim Chickens
1940 Liberty Mountain Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502

June 27-28 from 10 a.m. -3 p.m. at Slim Chickens

July 5-6 from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. at Slim Chickens

July 10-12 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Slim Chickens

July 18-20, 24- 25 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Slim Chickens

The company welcomes candidates for flexible part-time and full-time positions including cooks, dishwashers, utility workers, servers, and more.

The Reber-Thomas Dining Center will offer longer hours, opening a late shift for new staff.

According to Sodexo Field Marketing Manager Shelby Burton, cooks are incentivized with a $300 sign-on bonus paid over the first three paychecks.

Sodexo is encouraging candidates to bring 2 forms of I.D. along to jump start the hiring process.

The new dining center is estimated to serve up to 2,700 people complete with 30 food stations and 3 outdoor seating areas. This new addition to the LU campus will offer a wide array of international dining options, along with excellent service from Sodexo’s new staff.
