  1. Five individuals are wanted by the Campbell County Sheriff's Office for crimes, including theft, drug felonies, and probation violations. Raushan Oneil Fubler, Suzanne Inman Marshal, Delroy Maurice Baker, Amber Lee Culp, and Leroy Donnell White are all on the list of wanted offenders. The Sheriff's Office is seeking public assistance in locating them. (WSET)
  2. On Tuesday, tax relief and unspent money took center stage at the Lynchburg City Council budget meeting. After City Manager Wynter Benda unveiled his proposed 2024 budget last week, the council used this week to parse through the city’s unassigned general fund balance and pay-as-you-go capital projects.   3. A new vertical farm in Agria has grown over 170 plant varieties in Lynchburg. Among the plants it grows are strawberries, cilantro, peppers, and spinach are just a start. While founder William Layton won't reveal the secret of the proprietary technology he uses, he shared that lighting enables the plants to be able to grow 365 days a year indoors.   • The Virginia State Police are investigating a suspicious death in Rockbridge County. Leland David Johnson faces one count of Murder in the Second Degree for the alleged murder of Stormi Markland. (ABC 13)
  • Rachel Harvey, a teacher at Paul Munro Elementary, got a shoutout from an LCS parent this week! They said that the fact that Ms. Harvey "takes the time to reach out to [their] child and notice [their] strengths and weaknesses means so much." (Lynchburg City Schools via Twitter)
  • On Wednesday, the Lynchburg Police Department and One Community One Voice Lynchburg recognized the achievements of students. They even got to present some students from William Marvin Bass Elementary School with new bicycles for excelling in school and having some outstanding attitudes.
