Flavor Hive To Expand Food Truck Location To Brick-And-Mortar In Manassas

MANASSAS, VA — While Flavor Hive has been serving its viral walking tacos and other favorites out of a food truck in Manassas, it is planning a more permanent presence.

Flavor Hive's owners announced on social media that they are opening a brick-and-mortar location in the former Arby's building at 10831 Promenade Lane in Manassas. The owners say the restaurant will be a drive-thru location.

Flavor Hive, founded by Amgd Gende and Shihan Chowdhury, has gained a notable amount of social media followers — 1.7 million on Instagram and 1.4 million on TikTok. The business is known for its walking taco special, where customers will bring their own bag of chips. The food truck will fill it up with halal meat and other fillings starting at $10. Other menu items include a rice bowl, quesadilla, pita pouch, loaded fries and more.

Other Flavor Hive locations are food trucks at 5249 Duke Street and 3314 Richmond Highway in Alexandria as well as a brick-and-mortar location at 4260 John Marr Drive in Annandale.

Current hours at the Manassas food truck location are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday to Saturday and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
