Man Charged In Fatal Manassas Crash: Police
A man was arrested Tuesday for his role in a Jan. 4 crash in Manassas that left another man dead, according to Manassas City Police.

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested Tuesday for his role in a Jan. 4 crash at the intersection of Sudley Road and Godwin Drive that killed Erasmo Ramos Garcia, 46, of Manassas, according to Manassas City Police. After consultation with the Prince William County Commonwealth Attorney's Office, police charged Anthony Bevacqua, 49, of Manassas, with reckless driving.
Shortly after 10:15 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported crash involving an overturned vehicle. They found that a Jeep SUV driven by Bevacqua on Godwin Drive had smashed into the rear of a Hyundai stopped at the intersection. The Hyundai, driven by Garcia, was pushed into the rear of a Toyota SUV also stopped at the light.
Garcia was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died of his injuries. The Jeep SUV overturned, and Bevacqua also was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
