Manassas Farmer's Market Season Opener is Today
The popular farmer's market is back in Old Town.

The Manassas Farmer's Market 2013 peak season opening day is today in Old Town.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the start of the market is at 10 a.m.
More than 30 vendors have signed up to be apart of the semi-weekly farmer's market in Harris Pavilion, according to the Historic Manassas website, the entity that coordinates the market and other special events in the city.

During the peak season, the market is open on Thursdays and Saturdays.

The market participates in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) Program, commonly known as the food stamp program.
Program participates have to go by the Manassas Visitors Center at the Train Depot to get their SNAP tokens.
