Manassas Fire Causes $240,000 in Damage
Four people were displaced by the fire, Prince William County officials said.

A fire at a Manassas home caused $240,000 in damage on Saturday, according to Prince William Today reports.
It happened at 8:15 a.m. at a home on Nimitz Court, not far from Lomond Drive in the Manassas area of Prince William County.
Prince William County firefighters said when they arrived, flames were showing at the back of the two-story, single-family house.

The fire extended from the rear deck into the first and second floor and up to the attic, Prince William County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Kim Hylander said.
Two adults and two children who were displaced by the fire are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
