Suspect Arrested After Exchange Of Gunfire Killing Woodbridge Man In Manassas
Prince William County Police have arrested a Manassas Park man in a fatal shooting tied to an exchange of gunfire between two groups.

UPDATE: Police have arrested and charged Bautista.
MANASSAS, VA — A Manassas Park man was identified as the suspect in the fatal shooting during an exchange of gunfire between groups in Manassas. A Woodbridge man died in connection to the shootout.
Marlon Osvaldo Bautista, 20, of Manassas Park, is wanted on charges of second-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Prince William County Police believe the victim was fatally shot during an altercation with Bautista.

Police have an arrest warrant but have been unable to locate Bautista. He is described as a Hispanic man around 5 foot 3 and 115 pounds with black hair and green eyes.
Police had responded to a shooting report around 6:19 p.m. on Jan. 9 in the 8300 block of Sunset Drive. Officers found the involved parties had already left the area, and there were no signs of injured people.

Officers were then alerted to a 22-year-old man being treated for gunshot wounds at a hospital. According to police, two groups were in an altercation around the 8300 block of Sunset Drive. The fight escalated, and the groups exchanged gunfire. The two groups left in separate vehicles, and the injured man went to the hospital. He later died of his injuries.
The man was identified as Calvin Tyshaun Odell Batson, 22, of Woodbridge.
