Manassas Pedestrian Struck By 2 Vehicles, Killed In Nokesville
Prince William County Police say a pedestrian crossing outside a crosswalk was hit by two cars Thursday morning.

NOKESVILLE, VA — A pedestrian from Manassas died after being struck by two vehicles in Nokesville Thursday morning, according to Prince William County Police.
Around 5:48 a.m. Thursday, police responded to the pedestrian crash around Nokesville Road and Sowder Village Square. Police say a 2024 Nissan Sentra heading south Nokesville Road approaching Sowder Village Square struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian had been attempting to cross Nokesville Road outside of a crosswalk and was wearing dark-colored clothing, police say. A 2005 Mazda 6 also heading south on Nokesville Road then struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. He was identified as Donte Antonio Carter, 33, of Manassas.

The Nissan driver, a 20-year-old woman from Woodbridge, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There were no reported injuries to the Mazda driver, identified as a 37-year-old man from Stafford.
Police do not believe speed, alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash for the drivers.
