Manassas Police Receive New Information in 25-year-old Cold Case
Police are still searching for clues into the 1988 disappearance of Jerry Plaster of Manassas.

Manassas investigators are trying to keep hope alive after receiving new information about a missing persons case that ran cold more than two decades ago.
Twenty-five-year-old Jerry Plaster of Manassas was last seen on April 16, 1988 at the Manassas Mall on Sudley Road, where a live-in friend dropped him off, Manassas Police Sgt. Lowell Nevill said on Tuesday.
At the time, the two were living together on the 9200 block of Brent Street in Manassas.

Investigators said they recently received new information from the public about someone who was seen with Plaster on the day of his disappearance.
That person is described as a white man in his late 20s with an average build. He had unkempt, sandy blonde thin hair.
