The Manassas School Board is made up of seven members, and four of the seats are up for election in 2024. The four-year terms are staggered, which means the elections every two years include three or four seats on the board. Members are elected at large, so voters could cast a ballot for up to four candidates.

Along with school board, Manassas voters had Manassas mayor, three Manassas City Council seats, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, president and a Virginia constitutional amendment on the general election ballot.
