Stabbing Suspect Sought In Manassas: Police
A suspect has been identified and is being sought in the Jan. 6 stabbing of a man in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA—A suspect has been identified in the Jan. 6 stabbing of a man in the 10500 block of Lariat Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Wanted for malicious wounding is Jason Todd Cook, 45, of the 7400 block of Emerald Drive in Manassas. He's described as white, 6-2, 180 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Shortly after midnight, police arrived at the aforementioned area for a reported stabbing. They found a 36-year-old victim suffering from a stab wound to the upper body, and also found he was intoxicated and wanted out of Prince William County for failing to appear. After being arrested and taken to jail, he consented to medical treatment and eventually was taken to a local hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Police eventually determined he had been involved in an argument with an acquaintance that escalated, during which he was stabbed. Cook fled the area in a white car with Florida license plates. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
