Students Threatened Violence Against Teacher At PWC School: Cops

Police said the threat was determined to be not credible and the two students were released to family custody.

NOKESVILLE, VA — Two students at Patriot High School in Nokesville are facing charges after police say they threatened violence against a teacher at the school.

According to Prince William County Police, a school resource officer received information about a potential threat to a teacher at the high school on Monday. Police say an investigation found that two male students suggested violence against a specific teacher at the school on Snapchat.

According to police, the students also posted a picture of a firearm that was later determined to be a BB gun.

Police say both students were located and the threat was determined to be not credible.

A 16-year-old, of Bristow and a 14-year-old, of Gainesville were charged with threats of serious bodily injury on school property.

The students were released back to family custody.
