Teen Robbed After Football Game At Manassas Area School: Police
A state trooper intervened in the teen altercation and detained one suspect. Police are seeking two others.

MANASSAS, VA — A strong-arm robbery of a teen happened after a football game at a Manassas area school, according to Prince William County Police.
Around 7:24 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a robbery report at Benton Middle School at 7411 Hoadly Road. Police say three juveniles approached the 13-year-old boy after a football game. As he was walking away, the group struck the victim from behind, knocked him down and stole his shoes.
An off-duty Virginia state trooper had observed the altercation and intervened. One suspect was detained, and the two other suspects were not found after a K-9 search. The suspects were only described as teens wearing ski-style masks.

The arrested suspect, a 14-year-old boy, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, robbery, and assault by mob and was taken to the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center.
