Assistance League Provides Baby Items and Hugs Pillows

Earlier this summer, members of Assistance League of Northern Virginia's Hugs Pillow Team received a variety of hand-made items crafted by the talented artisans who live in the Dunbarton community in Bristow, VA. The Dunbarton Hugs Team provided 250 Hugs Pillows, as well as baby blanket & hat sets and an assortment of other hand-crafted items, including crocheted hats, quilts, headbands, and ‘indoor frisbees.’ Assistance League’s Hugs Team delivered the baby blanket & hat sets to a high school in Manassas that will provide them to new mothers who attend that school. The social worker for the school was very appreciative of these items. The colorful Hugs Pillows will be packed with toys and activities and then donated to local elementary school students.
