The City of Manassas Park is hosting the CMWG's 2023 Citywide Spring Clean Event on Apr. 22 (Earth Day) from 9-11 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring gloves, rakes, brooms, and trash bags to help clean up Polk Park and the surrounding streets. Those who are unable to attend can still contribute by taking a few moments to remove litter from the streets near them and emailing pictures to the organizers. (Manassas Park, VA)
  2. Starting Mar. 27, Manassas Park will begin its Spring 2023 Paving Program on select streets, subject to weather conditions. Advance notice will be provided 48 hours before the commencement of the work, and traffic control measures will be implemented. During the resurfacing work, there will be no on-street parking allowed, and any vehicles remaining will be towed at the owners' expense. A visualization of affected streets can be found at the link.   3. The Prince William Health District has reported violations at several restaurants near Manassas Park between Mar. 1-Mar. 7. Three Gainesville eateries (Pakwaan Indian Cuisine, KFC, and El Tio Tex Mex Grill), as well as the Domino's on Ashton Avenue in Manassas, recorded multiple violations. The Subway and Roy Rogers locations in Gainesville did not have any recorded violations in their most recent inspections. (Manassas Patch)
