Weekend Planner: Clean up the Park, Afternoon Tea

This weekend is going to be a hot one. But, if you feel like being out and about here are some things to do around the area this weekend. 

Manassas Park: 
Where/When: Saturday, 7- 10 p.m. at the 

What: Join a drop-in basketball game (adults only) at the community center. 

Pricing: It is free for members and a drop-in rate for non-members. A daily rate for adult residents of Manassas Park is $4. For non-residents, it's $5. 

Woodbridge
Where/When: Saturday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at at 2001 Daniel K. Ludwig Dr. 

What: Help clean the Potomac! Meet at the Visitor's Center and bring closed toe shoes, water and sunscreen.

Dale City: 
Where/When: Sunday, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Dale City commuter parking lot near Minnieville Road & Dale Boulevard.  

What: A weekend staple in eastern Prince William County, the commuter lot is open every Sunday.

Manassas: 
Where/When: Sunday, 1 p.m. at  at 9084 Center St. in Manassas

What: Join for an afternoon tea and complimentary menu featuring a bowl of soup, scones with Devonshire cream and jam, four tea sandwiches and savories, sweets, fresh seasonal and custom blended teas.
