$1 Million Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in McLean

It wasn't the winning $429.6 million Powerball ticket, but one lucky person bought a ticket in McLean worth $1 million.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Although the jackpot-winning ticket in Saturday's Powerball drawing was not bought in Virginia, there was no shortage of winners in the Commonwealth.

A total of 76,512 tickets bought in Virginia won prizes, including one ticket that won $1 million, according to the Virginia Lottery.

The ticket that won $1 million was bought in McLean, at the 7-Eleven store at 6720 Old Dominion Drive. It matched the first five numbers and missed only the Powerball number.
