Fairfax County: What's Open and Closed Presidents' Day

County Government – Closed.

Courts – Closed.

Public Schools and School Offices – Open. Note – this is a makeup day due to January snow days. As Fairfax County Public Schools are open, the Old Firehouse Teen Center in McLean will open for its afterschool program from 2:30-6 p.m.

Library – Closed.

Fairfax Connector – Operating weekday service on all Fairfax Connector routes, except for Routes 380D, 585, 595, and 597. Route 980 will operate a reduced level of service.

Fastran – Not in service.

Park Authority – RECenters open on regular schedules. Nature centers and Green Spring Gardens are closed; historic sites are open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Frying Pan Farm Park is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and visitor center is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Teen and Senior Centers – Closed. McLean Teen center open in the afternoon because schools are open. See above.

Community Centers – Closed.

McLean Community Center – Closed.

Reston Community Center Hunters Woods – Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Reston Community Center Lake Anne – Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

County Trash and Recycling Collection – Regular collection.

Recycling and Disposal Facilities at I-66 Transfer Station and I-95 Landfill Complex – Open.
