McLean High School Student Selected as Senate Youth Program Delegate

Saehee Perez of McLean High School was selected to serve as one of Virginia's two delegates in the United States Senate Youth Program.

MCLEAN, VA — A student from McLean High School has been selected as a delegate for the United States Senate Youth Program, according to Fairfax County Public Schools.

Saehee Perez was one of two students from Virginia picked to participate in the Senate Youth Program. Every year, two students from each state are selected to participate in the program as delegates.

The United States Senate Youth Program was established in 1962 by a U.S. Senate resolution to provide a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in pursuing careers in public service.

The 61st annual United States Senate Youth Program Washington Week will be held in Washington, D.C., from March 4-11, 2023.
