Starbucks Offers Crucial Caffeine Jolt to McLean Customers After Sandy
With much of downtown McLean in the dark on Tuesday morning, residents flocked to Giant, which was running on generator power.
The Starbucks inside Giant, at 1454 Chain Bridge Road, was one of the only businesses open on Tuesday morning after Hurricane Sandy knocked out power to thousands of homes and shops in McLean.
Tonya Perry, manager at this Starbucks location, snapped this photo on Tuesday morning, as the line for coffee grew 25 deep.
