Traffic Alert: Lane Closure Planned on Old Dominion Drive Jan. 4-11
Ditch and pipe replacement will impact daytime traffic on Old Dominion Drive, according to Virginia Department of Transportation.

MCLEAN, VA – Area motorists will want to be on alert for construction work along Old Dominion Drive beginning Wednesday, Jan. 4, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. A flagger will direct traffic around a closed lane during the work period.
A crew will be working on Old Dominion Drive between between Balls Hill Road and Van Ness Court through Wednesday, Jan. 11. They'll replace several pipes and reshape a ditch, according to VDOT.
The eastbound lane and shoulder area of Old Dominion Drive will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. All work is weather permitting.
