MCLEAN, VA — As the region’s blood supplies remain extremely low due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the McLean Volunteer Fire Department is teaming up with Inova Blood Donor Services to hold a blood drive on Friday, Dec. 30.
The Inova bloodmobile will be located in the fire department’s lower parking lot, with access from Lowell Avenue in McLean. There will be plenty of room at the site to park and use appropriate social distancing, the fire department said.
The blood drive will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 30. The public can visit the Inova website to schedule an appointment to donate blood at the fire department.
