Christmas Weather: Snow And Rain Battle In Mount Vernon
The latest weather predictions suggest snow isn't out of the equation for Christmas in Mount Vernon.

MOUNT VERNON, VA—While earlier forecasts suggested it could be a warm and wet Christmas, the latest outlook shows there's now a glimmer of hope for snow in Mount Vernon.
The area will see autumn-like temperatures as travelers hit the roads in the next few days. Yet it's expected to cool down by Christmas Eve, bringing a chance of a rain/snow mix as Santa makes his rounds. The conditions all depend on how low the temperatures can get overnight.
Then on Christmas night, the temperatures are likely to plummet below freezing, at least setting the stage for some snowflakes.
