Home Burglary Reported Early Wednesday in Mount Vernon Area: Police

Two suspects were seen carrying items out of the home, according to police. Police responded with a helicopter and K9s.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police say that a Mount Vernon area home was burglarized early Wednesday morning.

Police arrived at the home, located in the 3900 block of Woodhue Place (see map below), Wednesday morning at about 6:35 a.m. Police say that two men were seen entering the home and carrying items out.

A witness called police and provided a description of the suspects. Patrol, K9, Fairfax 1 and detectives responded to the scene, but no one was found. The suspects were described as black men in their 20s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 160 to 180 pounds, according to police.
