Police: Man Assaulted, Robbed on Huntington Avenue
Police investigating an assault that occurred Sunday night in Alexandria.
Police responded to a report of a robbery and assault a few minutes before 8 p.m. Sunday.
A man walking in the 2200 bloc of Huntington Avenue was approached then assaulted by three suspects, said PFC Bud Walker with the Fairfax County Police Department. The suspects then took money from the victim and fled.
The three suspects were all described as black males in their 20s. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
