Woman Assaulted, Robbed While Carrying Groceries: Police
A woman was walking with her groceries and was assaulted and robbed Wednesday morning, police said.

The woman was walking Wednesday morning about 10 a.m. near the intersection of Buckman Road and Roxbury Place (see map below) when she stopped to take a drink of water, police said. At that point, a vehicle pulled up next to her and a man got out of the car.
The suspect grabbed the woman by the arm, struck her in the head and shoved her to the ground, according to police. He took the victim’s purse and a bag of her groceries and fled in a white sedan, police said. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect was described as a black man between 35 to 40 years old, according to police. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants.
