Randolph-Macon Academy inducted new members to the National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society and National English Honor Society during Fall Family Weekend. National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society candidates must have an overall GPA of 3.75 or higher, demonstrated effective leadership, good citizenship, positive teacher recommendations, and service to the community. Merit scholarships were also announced during the same ceremony. The following students were honored:
- Nicholas McCormick, junior, son of Michael and Gabrielle McCormick, was inducted into the National Honor Society. He was also named to the President's List for the first academic quarter after achieving a grade point average above 4.0.
- Louisa C. Stanwich, freshman, daughter of John Stanwich and Maria Carosa Stanwich, was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. She earned the Eagle Scholars Scholarship for maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or better, and was named to the President's List for the first academic quarter for achieving a grade point average above 4.0.
