Alexandria City Academy Opens Applications For Spring 2017
The nine week program will begin on Mar. 9 and will be open to all Alexandria residents and business owners.

From The Alexandria City Academy: The Alexandria City Academy is now accepting applications for its spring 2017 session. The nine-week program, which begins March 9, helps participants learn about local government through first-hand experience with a wide range of municipal functions, services, activities and issues. Classes will be held on Thursday nights, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at various locations.
The program is open to Alexandria residents and business owners, and class size is limited. To review and submit an application online, visit www.alexandriava.gov/CityAcademy. To have an application faxed to you, call 703.746.HELP (4357). Applications are also available at City Hall, 301 King St., Room 1900. The application deadline is Friday, February 10.
