"Cashmere is a big softie with a chill personality. This 69-pound lady has an irresistible face and a silky coat. Cashmere came into the shelter as a local stray and has shown everyone that she is a smart girl. She is very treat motivated and already knows the cues for sit, down, and paw! Cashmere is the kind of velcro dog who always wants to be by your side, offering loyal companionship through daily life. At 18 months old, Cashmere still loves to go on adventures and gets the adorable zoomies. She would be a great walking buddy and interacts with people in a gentle, affectionate manner. Cashmere enjoys playtime with toys, but she would enjoy simply spending time with you even more. Since Cashmere is a young dog, she is at an excellent age for additional training and socialization. Contact the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria to meet Cashmere, and make sure to give her pets when she gifts you with a lean! Adoption fees have been waived for all animals over six months old through December 31st."
